We offer coaching in 2 ways: firstly as a 'stand alone' programme of 1-1 meetings or secondly as a highly effective 'follow up' to training and workshops. Our team are highly experienced coaches and can help you see your challenges from new angles and generate new solutions. They provide exactly the right balance of support and challenge that we all need to make progress.
We design and run bespoke workshops to help teams develop their performance. As with all our work, the emphasis is on activity and engagement. Typically we help teams to improve in three areas: Clarity - ensuring all members of the team share a common understanding of the objectives to be achieved, Alignment - ensuring that each person’s plans and activities work in collaboration with each other and finally, Behaviour - helping the team to develop more effective working relationships with each other, with other teams or with clients.
Culture is simply 'the way things happen around here'. Its impact on performance should not be underestimated. Culture develops whether you like it or not - you can either let it develop by accident or take control and create the culture you want. Our associates are licenced to use the Human Synergistics International range of tools to assess and develop organisational culture. We can remove the mystery and show you how to ensure your team develops the right culture.
Sometimes it's useful to use questionnaires to help people understand their own behaviour, personality and ways of working. Our associates are licenced to use a wide variety of well known tools, eg. MBTI (Myers Briggs), FIRO-B, DISC, SDI and many others. These can be built into a wider leadership or team development programme or we can run a 'stand alone' workshop using the right tool to meet your needs. Above all we focus on how to use the results generated by the questionnaires to effect real change. Just knowing your ‘type’, ‘preference’ or ‘colour’ is not enough - so we’ll help you get real value from that knowledge to improve performance.
Soft Skills Training
We can offer specific programmes in subjects including: presentation skills, conflict management, influencing, collaboration, team working and many more. As with all our work, it can be tailored to the budget and time available but will always be practical and engaging. Our team are not just great trainers and facilitators - they’ve all 'been there and done it' as leaders in a variety of organisations. This means that they don’t preach theory - instead they approach these subjects in a practical, down to earth way based on their own successes - and failures (!), speaking from their own experience.
Suitable for everyone from highly experienced leaders to brand new managers, our leadership workshops are highly practical and engaging. They enable you to return to work and start using new tools and behaviours immediately. A world away from boring PowerPoint presentations, our workshops are ‘experiential’. In plain English this means that delegates undertake real projects, trying out simple tools before reviewing their performance and identifying how they can apply those tools to their own challenges back at work. Workshops can be designed to suit any level of experience, budgets and the time available!
